Transition frame is a frame with 2 open rings:

The outer frame ring is the open ring of the outer shade.
The inner frame ring is of the open ring of the inner shade

The inner ring frame is 10cm in diameter smaller than the outer ring frame, leaving 5cm of light/space alongside the sides of the shades.
