Cut the bias binding to size.
With very thin material allw about an extra 2 mm width.
Push the bias binding through the wide end of the tape maker with the wrong side of the material face up.
When pushing through possibly use a pin to help ease tape through. Pin the bias binding down and iron.
Whilst ironing pull the tape maker in the direction of arrow.
